HIAS Chicago offers Citizenship classes to help immigrants prepare for their citizenship interview and exam.

 

Classes will be taught in English by volunteer teachers from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Dec. 17, and Jan. 7, 14, 21 and 28, at Niles township schools ELL Parent Center, 9440 Kenton Ave, Skokie.

This past Sunday, November 22, 2009 a historical "democratic" election was processed in our small community, and a clean sweep in which the "Free National Coalition," where all 15 candidates were elected for the Board of Directors of A.N.C.I. to serve the benevolent Assyrians in Illinois.

Metropolitan Asian Family Services (MAFS) a non-profit agency is offering a seminar on osteoporosis at its Niles facility on November 23 from 10:30am to 1pm.   THIS SEMINAR IS FREE.
