Starbucks Welcomes 1st SPL Book Deposit Collection!

Right before the Thanksgiving holiday, Starbucks welcomed its first book deposit collection from the Skokie Public Library at its Skokie Swift location.

 

The stand holds twenty five books for customers of the popular coffee spot to pick up and read for their own enjoyment. Individuals are encouraged to share their own gently used paperbacks, or help themselves to one on the shelf. After reading, customers are encouraged to pass the book on to someone else. 

 

Grab a coffee, hop on the train, and start reading!

You are invited to the 4th Game of the Blackhawks vs. the Canucks on May 5th at 7:30pm to May 6, 2:00am at The Village Inn.  Come and join the fun and cheer for your favorite team!! 

 

Plus enjoy delicious pizza and a cold drink.  The Blackhawks need your help so come and cheer them on to victory!
