Lincoln Terrace Art Studio and Gallery was founded in 1997 as a venue to exhibit works of several generations of Russian born artists. Over time exhibitions expanded to include paintings of contemporary American and European artists whose work gallery finds artistically significant.

The opening reception for the art show “Cinco Escuelas, Cinco de Mayo” will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5 (Cinco de Mayo in Spanish) in the lobby at Niles North High School, 9800 Lawler, Skokie. Artwork from five schools (Cinco escuelas in Spanish) will be on display. Exhibiting schools include: East Prairie Elementary School, Golf Junior High, McCracken Middle School, Old Orchard Junior High and Niles North High School.
