A Letter From Rep. Elizabeth Coulson To Voters Who Re-Elected Her To Seventh Term
I want to sincerely thank each and every person who provided their support to my campaign for re-election. Because of you, we were victorious on Nov. 4.
I also want to tahnk all of my volunteers who invested their time and energy into forming a winning campaign team. All of your help truly made a difference. I could not have won without all of your hard work.
I consider it a real honor and a privilege to serve this district in Springfield. I take great pride in being your independent voice and fighting for the issues that you care about. As we move forward into another legislative session, I will remain committed to passing meaningful legislation that enhances the quality of life in the 17th House District and throughout Illinois.
Once again, thank you for the honor of serving you in Springfield.
Beth Coulson
State Representative, 17th District

St. Rep. Coulson
I live in St. Rep. Coulson's district, and I hope that she'll run for a higher office. I read that Congressman Kirk might run for U.S. senator or governor, in 2010. If he runs for one of those offices, St. Rep. Coulson should run for his congressional seat. This month, Kirk won in Cook Co., but he lost, in Lake Co. His replacement should be a republican state legislator who agrees with him about many issues and lives in Cook Co. Therefore, St. Rep. Coulson would be the perfect candidate.
