Rush North Shore Will Be Renamed Skokie Hospital

As part of the merger of Rush North Shore Medical Center with NorthShore University Health System, the hospital will officially be renamed Skokie Hospital, effective Jan. 1. "This merger will give our communities enhanced access to health care, clinical programs and medical research of the highest caliber," said Jim Frankenbach, Rush North Shore Medical Center President. Skokie Hospital will be one of four hospitals for NorthShore University Health System and will continue to act as an acute care facility.
