Kut-Kut technique...
I am very interested in knowing more about the kut-kut art form. Are there any other resources available? If so, please email me with links if possible. Thank you....

Fred DeAsis gave a Kut-kut
Fred DeAsis gave a Kut-kut demonstration and training session for the Skokie Public Library's "Visit the Philippines" program held in April of this year. Young and old alike were captivated by Fred, his enthusiasm, and his extraordinary work.
Members of the Reference staff at the Library searched for more information on Kut-Kut technique for you and this is what they found.
Artist Fred DeAsis' website:
http://www.fdeasis.com/3.html
http://www.fdeasis.com/12.html (scroll down to see a 2006 Daily Herald article about the artist at Kut-kut)
PIA Information Services:
Brief news release about Fred DeAsis and his art http://pia.gov.ph/?m=12&sec=reader&rp=1&fi=p060731.htm&no=3&date=
Kut-kut is briefly mentioned in these two Wikipedia articles: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arts_of_the_Philippines
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samar
We hope this information is a help for you.
