Skokie Theatre Receives $6,000 Grant

Skokie Theater Receives GrantThe renovated Skokie Theater has received a $6,000 grant from the MacArthur Fund For Arts and Culture at The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation.

 

The grant goes into the theater's coffers to continue offering an eclectic mix of programming. "Without grants and donations, we don't survive," said Curtis. Within the last year the theater has received about $49 thousand from grants and corporate sponsors.
